In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous. - Aristotle
by Betsey Lewis
I am an old soul here to love myself, and to love and have more compassion for others. I will not judge another, because I might have been in that person’s shoes in a past life. I forgive everyone in my past for all perceived wrongs. I release them with love. Each day I visualize a healed planet and all the life on it, where Earth is in balance again. I take nothing for granted. Each morning, I give thanks for my gift of free-will to create the world I live in. I choose to feel good about myself, that I’m a powerful spiritual being, and I accept that no one is above me or below me. All souls are ONE. We are all part of the loving mind and energy of God and so my mission is to evolve spiritually each day.
OUR WORLD OF VIBRATIONS
Everything in our world and beyond vibrates. Some vibrations are bad and some are "Good Vibrations" (Beach Boys music included). Low vibrations or ELFs can be harmful to the body. ELFs (extremely low frequency) have been known to cause an expansion bridge to fall in Washington State due to high winds and people swaying on a dance floor to suddenly collapse.
The human body normal vibratory rate has been determined to be between 62 and 68 MHz (megahertz). The brain functions optimally between 72 and 90 MHz. When the body vibration lowers to 58 MHz it can “catch a cold”; at 57 MHz the flu sets in; 55 MHz candida, 52 MHz Epstein Barr; 42 MHz cancer and 25 MHz death begins.
That’s why it’s so important that we care for our bodies and eat good food (not processed) and drink pure water. The problem is there is an onslaught of ways to bring down the vibratory level now to tie humanity to this planet. It has reached a critical point. The picture as it is at the moment is beyond discouraging; it’s appalling! Humans are too engrossed in social media, on their cell phones, computers to notice what is happening around them. However, in playing out various scenarios in the holographic possibilities it is not at all hopeless. There’s always the hundredth monkey, a hypothetical phenomenon in which a new behavior or an idea is claimed to spread rapidly by unexplained means from one group to all related groups once a critical number of members of one group exhibit the new behavior or acknowledge the new idea.
Music is one way to raise your consciousness and vibratory rate. Edgar Cayce, known as the Sleeping prophet, often said that Mozart and music by Bach could increase intelligence and the vibratory rate of the human body. Click here to learn more:
Some of the benefits of the Mozart Effect are:
• Improves test scores
• Cuts learning time
• Calms hyperactive children and adults
• Reduces errors
• Improves creativity and clarity
• Heals the body faster
• Integrates both sides of the brain for more efficient learning
• Raises IQ scores 9 points (research done at University of California, Irvine)
During the 1990s I spent 10 years with Indigenous people and Native Americans from Belize to Canada at Pow Wows, sweat lodges and a vision quest. I had two incredible spiritual leaders—Spiritual Leader of the Western Shoshone Nation Corbin Harney and Oglala Sioux author and Ceremonial Leader Ed McGaa “Eagle Man.” They taught me how everything is connected and that we are one with Mother Earth and all life. The only way we are separated is by our own myopic beliefs.
I’d like to recommend that all of you intend that the Native American teachings come your way. Begin to explore them through sweat lodges, drumming, dancing, vision quests, Pow Wows and so on. This will awaken many things in you and teach you much about Earth Mother. You are coded to ritual; when you perform ritual, your body begins to remember who you are and what you know. Native drumming and chanting really resonates in my soul and after I’ve been at a Pow Wow, I feel renewed and light as a feather. This is powerful medicine for the soul!
Aho Mitakuye Oyasin--is an Oglala Sioux saying: Aho means, I take your prayers as my prayers, and Mitakuye Oyasin means, We are related to everything on Mother Earth.
TOUCHING THE EARTH
The Healing Powers of Going Barefoot
Earth provides healing. Our ancestors and the Earth's indigenous people have known this energy for thousands of years, but modern humans have forgotten it. Grounding, also called Earthing, refers to the discovery of major health benefits from sustained contact with the Earth's natural and subtle electric energy. Recent research published in the Journal of Inflammation, Integrative Medicine: A Clinician's Journal, Neonatology and Healthindicates that ground stabilizes the physiology in many ways, drains the body of inflammation, pain and stress, and generates greater well-being. Grounding can be as simple as going barefoot i nature, including the backyard, for 30 to 60 minutes once or twice a day on surfaces like grass, soil, gravel, stone and sand. I find it important to give thanks to Earth Mother will you are doing this. If this isn't practical, special grounding mat and pads are available online for convenient indoor use while sitting or sleeping; people with compromised health, often benefit from more time being\ grounded.
The activity restores a primordial electric connection with the Earth that has been lost with modern lifestyles. We wear shoes with insulating, synthetic soles and live and work elevated about the ground. These overlooked lifestyles factors may contribute to increasing global rates of chronic illnesses. Grounding revitalizes us, akin to charging a weak battery, because our bodies operate electrically and our movements and thoughts are based on electrical signals. We are bioelectric beings!
Shaman and medicine women went on a Vision Quests, climbing high mountain, removing their shoes to connect to Earth Mother. Often they were given visions of the future. From childhood into my teens, I hated wearing shoes and spent my summers barefoot in the Snake River Canyon of Idaho swimming, riding horses, and hiking barefoot. Even then I understood the energy of Earth.
Inflammation is intimately linked to most chronic and age-related diseases, " says Gaetan Chevalier, Ph.D., a visiting scholar at the University of California, San Diego, who has conducted multiple grounding studies. "Ground seems to be nature's way to reduce inflammation." Enhanced blood flow: Thick, sludgy blood is a common feature of diabetes and cardiovascular disorders. Several grounding studies have demonstrated a significant decrease in blood viscosity and enhanced blood flow. "Grounding represented a potent circulation booster; a simple, yet profound preventive and therapeutic strategy," says integrative cardiologist Dr. Stephen T. Sinatra, of Manchester, Connecticut, co-author of the book Earthling: The Most Important Health Discovery Ever! Grounding also helps with decreased stress. Melanie Monteith of San Diego, California was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at age 24 and plagued by symptoms for 14 years. She relied on walking aids and walls to keep from falling. Then, in late 2017, she tried grounding and it changed her life. Within a few months of grounding both day and night, Monteith's disease symptoms receded dramatically. Her balance and stability improved when standing and walking. An eye issues for which there is no drug subsided. She says her health continues to improve and she looks forward to living each day again.
